Overview
DRS is the new frontier of non-mydriatic, digital retinal imaging. Its compact, ergonomic design and low power flash help ensure patient comfort.
The DRS is a non-mydriatic fundus camera. A fully automated device, the DRS captures digital images of the central retina without pharmacological pupil dilation. Eye care providers use these images for screening of diabetic retinopathy.
Benefits of the DRS:
• Fully automated, requires no operator.
• Affordable price point
• Fast routine procedure improves practice efficiency
• Intuitive, software-guided operation
• Compact design; portable device
• Web-connected: easy to transfer images to network
The DRS allows for large-scale screening programs, which is key in the prevention of diabetes-induced vision impairments that can lead to blindness.[/toggle]
DRS is the new frontier of non-mydriatic, digital retinal imaging.
Its compact, ergonomic design and low power flash help ensure patient comfort.
DRS is conceived to maximize patients flow and it is entirely operated through its intuitive touch-screen interface. It supports single- or multi- field acquisition protocols, providing seven different, standardized, 45° fields. DRS senses the patient, self-aligns to the target eye, focuses the retina, adjusts the flash level and captures the image in less than 30 seconds.
